Description

Stock #7008 Able to handle the harshest environments, these eight-seat brutes ride like a dream, have loads of electric amenities, and tons of space and safety features. Exterior Overview The 100 Series Land Cruiser is the gold standard for your reliable, year-round, transportation needs. Able to handle the harshest environments, these eight-seat brutes ride like a dream, have loads of electric amenities, and tons of space and safety features. If you had to criticize the model, it is perhaps a bit conservatively styled, but this 1998 certainly breaks the mold. Set off in an eye-catching Evergrest Green (6X7) exterior, this eight-seater is further enhanced by OEM rainguards, a new 2.5″ Eibach lift kit, LED taillights, and new 17″ ICON wheels wrapped in new 34″ Falken rubber. Aside from a few minor blemishes, the paint is in good shape, and this V8-powered 4×4 is fresh off a recent service. Boasting only 103k verified and documented miles on the clock, this terrific Toyota has logged a fraction of the use of most American examples. This VX Limited would make for a durable daily driver, wonderful weekend overlander, or gargantuan grocery getter! A Japanese Classic to the core, it’s hard to find fault with this trustworthy, handsome, and practical SUV. Interior Overview The cabin was cared for overseas, and it’s clear. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column and an inflatable lumbar support to find the ideal seating position. Power folding mirrors, electric locks, and power windows all make daily use more enjoyable and work like a charm, except for the up and down adjustment on the passenger side mirror. The dashboard lacks any cracking or distortion, and the center stack is close by and within reach of both front occupants. Dual SRS airbags are standard, and the simple-to-use climate control system pipes in cold air conditioning and piping hot heat, depending on what you need. Above, we installed a brand new BOSS head unit. It features American FM frequencies and Bluetooth, should you wish to stream some tunes to supplement your commute. The headliner and door cards are in good shape, and the the upholstery is in above average nick, and lacks any major rips, stains, holes, or tears. Aside from a few tiny carpet stains and a little bit of discoloration on the dashboard, it’s hard to critique this Cruiser at all. Mechanical Overview The 100 is stout and sturdy. The 2UZ-FE V8 is an incredible engine that runs with little vibration and creates decent power. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the 4.7L churns to life immediately courtesy of a new 12V battery. A new fuel filter and spark plugs were installed as soon as it got on the lift, and one of our trained technicians replaced the valve cover gaskets so that the oil level stays full. To keep all the electronics properly powered, a new alternator was installed, as well. The 2UZ is linked to a strong automatic gearbox that shifts just as it should. The full time 4WD system puts power to the ground seamlessly, and a low-range gearset and center locker are on hand should you decide to use the path less travelled. It gets up to highway speeds without breaking a sweat, and slows down confidently courtesy of standard ABS-equipped disc brakes. The suspension was fully refreshed when this rig was in our shop. The new rear upper and lower control arms complement the new Eibach lift kit. It drives impressively well and tracks straight as an arrow thanks to fresh alignment. The power steering is light and easy to articulate, and the freshly mounted and balanced 34″ rubber only adds to the appeal. Turn key and ready to go,and this lovable Landy has tons of style and substance. *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
