Toyota Celsior generations & buyer's guide
17 Toyota Celsior listings for sale →The Toyota Celsior is the JDM-market name for the Lexus LS series, produced across three generations from 1989 to 2006. It was launched as a prestige sedan to compete with Mercedes-Benz and BMW at the top of Japan's domestic market. The first generation (UCF10/UCF11, 1989–1994) used a 4.0L 1UZ-FE V8. The second generation (UCF20/UCF21, 1994–2000) carried the same engine with revised suspension and interior. The third generation (UCF30/UCF31, 2000–2006) used a 4.3L 3UZ-FE V8 producing 280 PS JDM-spec. Unlike export Lexus LS models, JDM Celsior units were rated at 280 PS per Japan's voluntary gentlemen's agreement, regardless of actual output. The Celsior was discontinued after 2006 when Lexus was officially launched in Japan.
