Suzuki JDM Cars — Model Overview & Buying Guide

Suzuki Motor Corporation, founded in 1909, built its JDM identity on kei-class vehicles and compact off-road models. The Jimny (JB23 chassis) is a body-on-frame 4WD kei SUV that has sustained global enthusiasm for decades due to its simplicity and off-road capability. The Carry (DB/DD/ST series) and Every wagon serve the kei commercial market; both use 660cc three-cylinder engines. At the sports end, the Cappuccino (EA11R/EA21R) was a small rear-wheel-drive convertible with a turbocharged F6A or K6A engine. The Alto (CA series) and Cultus represent the budget commuter end of Suzuki's line. Kei Suzukis clear the US 25-year exemption and are actively imported as farm and hobby vehicles.
